About the National Youth Council

The National Youth Council of Ireland (NYCI) is an umbrella organisation that represents and supports the interests of 54 national voluntary youth organisations and uses its collective experience to act on issues that impact on young people. We provide training, support and information in Youth Health, Youth Arts, Development Education, Interculturalism and Child Protection along with working in the areas of Advocacy, Research & Policy and Young People’s Participation. Our work is based on the core values of equity, volunteerism, pro-activity, interdependence, quality and representation.
